Medizinprodukte entwickelt sich weiterhin positiv. Nicht nur der
Umsatz des Medizintechnik- und Pharmamarktes steigt konstant um
etwa sechs Prozent, sondern auch der Anteil an
Kunststoffkomponenten für Medizinprodukte. Die neuesten Produkte
und Verfahren standen im Mittelpunkt der VDI-Tagung „Kunststoffe
in der Medizintechnik“, die das VDI Wissensforum am 28. und 29.
März 2012 in Friedrichshafen veranstaltete.

The medical product
market continues to record positive development. Not only sales
in the medical technology and pharmaceutical market are rising
steadily by around 6% but the share of plastic components for
medical products is also increasing. The latest products and
processes formed the focus of the VDI "Plastics in Medical
Technology” symposium organized by the VDI Knowledge Forum on
March 28 and 29, 2012 in Friedrichshafen.

| Ein internationaler
Kongress für Forscher, Entwickler, Hersteller, Zulieferer,
Dienstleister und klinische Anwender aus der Medizintechnik- und
Pharma-Branche, der nach 2008 und 2010 zum dritten Mal
stattfindet. Alle zwei Jahre treffen sich in Nürnberg rund 900
Experten zu dieser Veranstaltung. Der Kongress hat sich
mittlerweile als wichtiger Branchentreff für die
Gesundheitsbranche etabliert. In hochrangig besetzten
Vortragsreihen werden am 4. und 5. Juli in Nürnberg wieder
innovative Lösungen und Best-Practice Beispiele vorgestellt und
diskutiert.
An international congress for researchers,
developers, manufacturers, suppliers, service-providers and
clinical users representing the medical technology and
pharmaceutical sector taking place for the third time after 2008
and 2010. Every two years, around 900 experts meet at this event
in Nuremberg. The congress has meanwhile established itself as a
key meeting place for the health sector. Once again, innovative
solutions and best-practice samples will be presented and
discussed within the framework of presentations by high-ranking
speakers on July 4 and 5 in Nuremberg.

Die als weltweit wichtigste Kunststoffmesse des Jahres
geltende Fakuma findet vom 16. bis 20. Oktober in
Friedrichshafen zum 22. Mal statt. Wie in 2011 wird es auch in
zur diesjährigen Messe den Themenpark „Kunststoffe in der
Medizintechnik“ geben. Medizintechnik ist für die Kunststoff
verarbeitende Industrie ein zunehmend wichtiges Geschäftsfeld.
Deshalb wird das Segment vom Veranstalter erneut zu einem
Leitthema gemacht. Mit dem Themenpark wird eine
Präsentationsplattform angeboten, die den Fokus klar auf
Kunststoffanwendungen in der Medizin richtet. Auf der
Ausstellungsfläche direkt im Eingangsbereich West der Messe
werden innovative Lösungen und technologische Trends für
dieses Branchensegment gezeigt.

the world's most important plastics fair, the Fakuma will be
taking place for the 22nd time from October 16 to 20 in
Friedrichshafen. As in 2011, this year's fair will also
feature the "Plastics in Medical Technology" theme park.
Medical technology is an increasingly important division for
the plastics processing industry, which is why the organizer
is once again presenting it as a leading issue. The theme park
will offer a presentation platform clearly focussing on
plastic applications in the medical sector. Innovative
solutions and technological trends for this segment will be
presented in the exhibition area in the western lobby of the
fair.
