Fakuma für die rund 1.700 Aussteller aus 35 Ländern erneut als überaus erfolgreich und glänzte sowohl mit hoher Internationalität als auch mit zahlreichen Premieren. Bereits seit den 1970er Jahren arbeitet ACTEGA DS an der Entwicklung PVC-freier Granulate auf Basis Thermoplastischer Elastomere und hat sich seit Einführung erster Verschlusslösungen für Kronenkorken Anfang der 1980er kontinuierlich zum Experten für TPE-Lösungen entwickelt. Wir wurden daher gebeten, anlässlich der Thermoplastic Elastomers Conference 2012, vom 13. bis 14. November in Berlin technische Einblicke in die Welt der TPE zu geben, Weiterentwicklungen und Anwendungsbeispiele für die Bereiche Lebensmittelverpackung, Medizintechnik und Pharmazie vorzustellen. mehr

As early as the 1970s, ACTEGA DS was working on developing a PVC-free granulate based on thermoplastic elastomers and has consistently developed from its launch of seal solutions for crown corks in the early 1980s to become an expert in TPE solutions. With regard to the Thermoplastic Elastomers Conference on November 13 and 14 in Berlin we were asked to provide some insights into the world of TPE and to present the developments and applications for the areas of food packaging, medical technology and pharmaceuticals. more

On the one hand, elegance and beauty should be reflected in the design and surface quality of packaging while on the other hand, a wide variety of mechanical properties need to be complied with. Materials must therefore combine a high degree of transparency, glossy surfaces, high strength, rigidity, above-average color depth, media resistance and easy processability.  more
