präsentiert: Maßgeschneiderte Kunststoff-Compounds für
Medizintechnik und Pharmazie, wie z.B. unsere hochtransparenten
TPE (Thermoplastischen Elastomere) für medizinische Schläuche.
Eine Werkstoffverbindung, die sich u.a. durch Biokompatibilität,
Sterilisationsfähigkeit, Knickbeständigkeit sowie die Fähigkeit
zur Koextrusion mehrerer Materialien auszeichnet, wie sie etwa
gefordert ist, um mehrere Schichten in einem Schlauch formen zu

At ACTEGA DS,
we availed of the opportunity to present our
ProvaMed® portfolio within this environment: tailored plastic
compounds for medical technology and pharmaceuticals such as our
highly-transparent TPE (thermoplastic elastomers) for medical
tubes. TPE is a material compound distinguished by its
bio-compatibility, sterilization capacity, buckle resistance and
ability to co-extrude several materials as required for molding
several layers in a tube, for example.

Bedeutung, wurde im Rahmen der gerade beendeten Pharmapack
Europe gefordert. Entsprechend müsse die Entwicklung von
Produkten und Ideen in diesem Bereich auch bei der
zugrundeliegenden Werkstoffauswahl sowohl den Patienten und das
medizinische Fachpersonal im Auge haben, als auch das verpackte
Produkt, das es vor Stoffübergängen aus der Verpackung zu
schützen gilt.

Der Kosmetikmarkt
ist ein höchst wettbewerbsintensiver. Neben den Düften,
dekorativen und pflegenden Inhalten kommt es in hohem Maße auf
die Verpackung an, die Eleganz und Luxus durch hochwertiges
Design, aufwändige Applikationen, hohe Oberflächenqualität
unterstreichen sollte. Die Verpackung muss zahlreiche
funktionelle und verkaufsfördernde Eigenschaften erfüllen, wobei
Verpackung nicht nur die Hülle meint, sondern oft die
Integration zahlreicher Zusatzfunktionen wie Drehmechanik,
Verschluss oder Scharnier. Hohe Transparenz, brillante
Oberflächen, hohe Zähigkeit, Steifigkeit, überdurchschnittliche
Farbtiefe, Medienresistenz und leichte Verarbeitbarkeit – all
das sind Anforderungen an das Material für Kosmetikverpackungen.
Hier sind hochwertige Kunststoffe gefragt, die diese
Anforderungen erfüllen und gleichzeitig eine hohe Designfreiheit
eröffnen. Insbesondere spricht das Anforderungsprofil dafür, auf
hochleistungsfähige TPE (Thermoplastische Elastomere) zu setzen,
wie die ProvaMed®-TPE von ACTEGA DS.

The cosmetics market is subject to
extremely intensive competition. Apart from aromatic substances,
decorative and caring components, major significance is also
attributed to the packaging which aims to underline the elegance
and luxury of products in the form of high-quality design,
complex applications and high surface quality. Packaging is
obliged to comply with numerous functional and sales-promoting
features, whereby this not only involves the exterior packaging
but often the integration of numerous additional functions such
as twist mechanisms, seals or hinges. High transparency, glossy
surfaces, high strength, rigidity, above-average color intensity,
media resistance and easy processability are all requirements
placed on materials for cosmetics packaging. High-quality
plastics are needed which are capable of complying with these
requirements while enabling a high degree of design freedom. The
requirement profile calls for the use of high-performance TPE (thermoplastic
elastomers) such as the ProvaMed® TPE offered by ACTEGA DS.
